Christmas: Round 1

My parents, brother and niece came over today for presents and lots of food! Special thanks to the local grocery store for cooking and carving the turkey for me! While we were eating, one of the presents kept meowing. Jameson was fascinated and, I think, a touch concerned that someone wrapped up our cat. Turned out, it was a "Fur Real Kitty" for his cousin.

Watching kids open presents is always so much fun! Jackson finally got that Elmo microwave he's been pining for. That was the first present he opened and he took it into another room to enjoy it in peace. He couldn't care less that there were other presents to be opened. We had to keep bringing him back to open the rest. The Handy Manny fix-it TV is a close second favorite.

Jameson watched J open the microwave with a huge smile on his face. When he opened his first present, it turned out to be two pairs of jeans from Grandma and Grandpa. He looked and the jeans, put the top back on the box and said, "Bye Bye" while waving at the pants.

All was forgiven when he opened the kid sized drum kit from Uncle Mike. J2 has been banging away since it was put together.

Tomorrow we do it all again after Santa stops by. And then again with Daddy's family a week from Saturday.
